The Path to Joining Scouts

New members are encouraged to try between 4 to 6 sessions, to get a good idea of what weekly meetings are like.

Uniform & Leader Chat

New members will have an opportunity to have a chat with section leader and assistant.  We will take this opportunity to answer any questions they may have and discuss investiture etc. 

 

Once Uniform is purchased we move on to official joining ceremony

This is the traditional joining ceremony, the new members will say the section promise with section leaders and be given the group scarf and become official member of the the World Scout Movement

Our Scouting Week

1st Colchester run section meetings during school terms, hover over section for times.

Where we meet

Since our founding days we have been a town centre group and this tradition continues to this day. 

 

Our current HQ was built to replace our old home during the redevelopment of the Culver area
